Tips from hosts

Give each household a seat count

On Kenji Invites you set how many seats each guest gets. Their RSVP can't go over it, so a "plus one" only happens when you offer one. This one setting saves most couples an awkward phone call.

Put the whole weekend on one invitation

Rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, ceremony, reception and the brunch the next day can each have their own time, place and directions. Guests see them in order with a countdown.

Send it from your own phone

Each guest gets a text or email from you, with their own link in it. People open messages from someone they know. There is no "noreply" email to land in spam.

Keep a paper copy for the grandparents

Some guests still want something on the fridge. Open the invitation the way a guest sees it, save the card as a picture and print it. If they phone you their answer, record it on your guest list so the count stays right.

How the RSVP works

You add your guests

Type or paste names with a phone number or email, and choose how many seats each one gets. A couple gets 2, a family of four gets 4.

You send each one their own link

Tap Text or Email next to a guest and your phone opens a message with their link already in it. It comes from you, so people open it.

They tap Yes or No

Guests see the invitation with a countdown to the wedding, then reply with how many are coming and their names. No app, no account. Every answer shows up on your guest list.

What free means here

  • Free. Making it, sending it and tracking replies. No paid tier needed to send.
  • No ads on the invitation your guests open.
  • No guest accounts. Guests tap a link and answer. Nothing to download.
  • No sign-in for you either. You get a private link to your invitations that works on any phone.
  • Seats per guest. Replies can't go over the number you set.
  • Up to 8 photos, a countdown, maps, calendar buttons and a phone wallpaper for guests.
